Changing environment inspires local artist

She has been influenced by artists such as Pat Stone, Glenda Cornell and Kate Jenvey who have encouraged her to continue her creative journey through experimentation and to undertake projects that excite her spirit.

Debbie explores themes of environment, local flora and birdlife.

Her inspiration comes from the constantly changing environment; earthy and golden tones of the ground; blues, greens and turquoises of the water and sky; and mauves and purples of the evening skies providing ideas aplenty.

Debbie has entered local regional exhibitions and has started taking workshops which has stimulated her creative endeavours and confirms her practice.
