Cobram Anglican Grammar School is congratulating all its senior students after 2021 VCE results and ATARs were released on Thursday, December 16.

Year 12 Dux Liam Smith achieved a score of 93.75, while Meghan Gossayn and Emma Nolan each received scores of 91.85 and 87.75 respectively.

Three Year 10 “fast track” students have also achieved high further mathematics study scores with Cadence Pang getting 45 and Cody Lincoln and Martin Kong achieving a study score of 44.

CAGS principal Keith Willett said while they recognise the success of these students, they are also celebrating and acknowledging all Year 12s who have faced unprecedented challenges throughout their VCE years.

“They have demonstrated a level of maturity, determination and resilience of which not only they, but our entire school community should be proud,” he said.

“All of our Year 12 graduates are in a great position to be able to achieve their future career pathway and we wish them well on their future endeavours.”

While some will be taking a well-deserved break in the form of a gap year, others are heading into careers such as sport and exercise science, computer science, nursing, performing arts, health and science.

Others are heading into trade apprenticeships in local trades.

Mr Willett said the school’s greatest hope is for students to continue to strive for their best and continue to be fine citizens and make positive contributions for the community.

“Our students have truly honoured our school's values,” he said.
