The school holidays have kicked off, with Cobram Library getting the fun under way with a nature beetles session with Kylee Donkers from Dutch Thunder Wildlife Shelter.

Mrs Donkers brought in a huntsman spider, centipedes, super worms, a wood roach and many more for the young entomologists to look at safely.
Bravery was put to the test as the kids got the chance to get up close to the critters.
They also learned about the various body parts of a spiny leaf insect, the masters of disguise.
