Barooga Rural Fire Service crews were called out twice last week to separate incidents, one being a car crash on a bridge.

On Friday, July 3, Barooga RFS attended the two-car crash near the Golf Course Rd, on the bridges towards Cobram.
A pregnant woman was conveyed to Wangaratta Hospital for precautionary checks.
Two Barooga units responded to the scene.
On Wednesday, July 1, firefighters attended a property on Amaroo Ave, where a tree had fallen across a powerline.
Authorities say the homeowner became aware of the incident after stepping out of the shower and reportedly receiving a small shock from touching a tap.
Crews remained on scene until power company electricians arrived to take over and fully assess the incident.
