“It was a good family event, with the majority of the crowd being families.
“It was also really great to see generations of families enjoying the day, from grandparents to grandkids visiting returning from uni.”
Ms Goldsworthy said Max’s at The Beach cafe offered great food for visitors, and some families brought their own little picnics.

She said Dutch Thunder Wildlife Shelter had the best display with many people enjoying the wildlife education.
The CBBT were also grateful for the Cobram Canoe Club and two fishing boats who helped the duck wranglers after the race.
Alongside the duck race, visitors enjoyed various amusements and fun on the beach, with 28 sand creations built and judged.

“They all received an Easter bunny for their hard work,” Ms Goldsworthy said.
