The player held one of the 10 winning division one entries for Saturday's draw but their registration card contact details are out of date, meaning The Lott officials cannot contact the winner.
The winning entry was purchased at Cobram Lotto, Punt Rd, Cobram, and organisers are asking people to check their tickets.
Cobram Lotto owner Dean Clydesdale was thrilled his outlet had sold another division one winning entry.“We’ve owned the outlet for nearly 18 years and this is the 16th division one winning entry we’ve sold,” he said.“This is the largest division one prize we’ve ever sold, so we're thrilled.“The last time we sold a winning entry was in April 2018, so we’ve been patiently waiting for another win and we are so thrilled it has come our way.”The Lott spokesperson Bronwyn Spencer said Cobram’s mystery winner was a great reminder to players to keep their contact details up to date.“Imagine walking around not realising you’re $2 million richer,” she said.“Our Cobram player might be hard at work today not realising they could soon hand in their notice or retire thanks to becoming an overnight millionaire.“There are two million reasons why Cobram lottery players should check their tickets today as they could be the mystery winner we are searching for.“It’s also a great reminder to all of our players to make sure their contact details are up to date so we can call them directly with any life-changing news.”
