About 14 members and friends of Rotary have been working on the project for the past 12 months.
Rotarian Hans Zonneveldt said the club saw a need to improve the track.
“A couple hundred people would come through here to use this place, it's a very popular spot,” he said.
Club members have placed gravel on about two thirds of the Quinn Island track and repainted public benches.
The latest 80 cubic metres of gravel was donated by James Cornish of RJ Cornish and Co and Peter Wright of Amaroo Sand and Gravel Supplies.
About 100 cubic metres of gravel is needed to complete the project, which will be donated once again by Mr Cornish and Mr Wright, as well as Cobram Irrigation's Rob Love and the Cobram Rotary Club.
The club has worked with Parks Victoria to organise the upgrades and has received positive feedback from local visitors.
Mr Zonneveldt said the club hoped to complete the works within a month.
“It has brought us together again,” he said.
“We're looking for new members and these are the sorts of things that bring them in because they can see what we're doing in the community.
“We're proud of the work we've done and it will help promote the area.”
