More than 80 people attended the event, which highlighted local projects supported by Sporties - such as the Cobram Community Cinema, the Cobram-Barooga FightMND Golf Day and Blueearth Foundation.
Foundation directors Billy Yates, Ray Nye and Gerald O'Dwyer attended, with the Sporties stalwarts sharing their memories of the club in a video.
Vin Toohey, also a foundation director, shared in the video as well, however was absent on the night.
Sporties staff also featured in a video about the club's support of the region.
“Tonight is a reflection of how important our community is and the important role we play in our community,” Sporties group president Gary Hunt said.
“But we also want our community to have a chance tonight to tell us how they feel about what we're doing.
“Our purpose set by those before us - and which continues today - is to build a strong and vibrant community including promoting and fostering sport.”
