After successful European tours in 2018 and 2019, the Chamber Philharmonia Cologne from Germany returns to Australia with a powerful and beautiful new program.
Entitled `Classical music the world over’, this is also the motto of the Chamber Philharmonia Cologne.
Whether the musicians are playing in a little village church, in the open air, in the Cologne Cathedral or the Sydney Opera House, their enthusiasm is infectious and plain to see every time they take to the stage.
The objective is simple - they want to inspire as many people as possible across all generations to enjoy classical music.
The popularity of this ensemble is reflected in the fact that Chamber Philharmonia Cologne gives about 300 concerts a year across the globe.
The Chamber Philharmonia Cologne was founded in the city whose name it bears - Cologne. Famous throughout the world for its University of Music and its musical and instrumental teaching, musicians of unparalleled talent have been trained there for many decades.
Chamber Philharmonia Cologne’s tours regularly take in New Zealand, Australia, Spain, Great Britain, Ireland, Germany and many other countries.
The multifaceted composition of the ensemble provides every member of the Chamber Philharmonia Cologne with the chance to perform as a soloist.
