On Tuesday, December 9, GV Health’s ninth annual Parkinson’s Conference drew people with Parkinson’s, their caregivers, and experts from across the country to the GV Hotel.
The full-day event delivered a mix of medical insights and practical guidance, with presenters covering everything from diet and cognition to sexual health and exercise.
For the first time, the program also handed the microphone to those living with Parkinson’s.
Event organisers aimed to help attendees feel informed, supported and connected — and delivered on all three.
News photographer Megan Fisher was there with her camera in hand.
Patti Matthews, one of the guest speakers, shared her personal journey with Parkinson’s.
