Former Cobram resident Pauline Hyde: I’d love to see the Cobram pool extended into a splash park and the rest could be a play area.

The former Cobram Apex Caravan Park site is reopening for public use. The Courier asked local residents what they would like to see the park used for in the future.

Terri Dean of Cobram: A playground would be good for mums to take their children.
Dennis Quirk of Cobram: I think we have enough parks and it could be used for a housing estate of one or two bedroom units.
Dennis Ross of Bearii: There used to be a lot of mothers with kids meeting there quite often, so maybe a park and a playground.
Jodi Franklin of Strathmerton: A splash park for the kids, so we don’t have to travel to Barooga or Tocumwal.
Ken Phillips of Strathmerton: A park where people can take their dogs and push bikes and a barbecue area.
Michelle Sullivan of Cobram: It would make a perfect splash park, which would draw more people to the town.
Natalie Davey of Cobram: A water park for the kids. Kids need something to do around here.
