Corowa Business Chamber president Stuart Whisson said after having no expo since 2019 due to COVID-19 it was “great to be back in-person”.
“It was a great evening and well attended,” Mr Whisson said.
“The expo was an opportunity for local students to speak directly with around 50 exhibitors from a range of sectors including tourism, civil construction, colleges and emergency services and training and employment providers.
“The Corowa Business Chamber would like to thank everyone who attended including our diverse range of local businesses who set up a stall.
Comedian and former Corowa High School Student Blake Pavey entertained students as MC for the evening.
“The expo provides students with this opportunity, which is really invaluable at the start of their career journey when you have so many training and learning pathways to consider.”
Guest speakers for the evening included Marty Matassoni from Beechworth Bakery and former Corowa local and Architect Nick Aylward.
Plenty of prizes were also on offer including two Ipads from Corowa RSL Club. Comedian, social media sensation and former Corowa High School Student Blake Pavey also entertained the crowds as MC for the evening.
