Cobram Secondary College’s student representative council played its part in raising funds for the Royal Children’s Hospital Good Friday Appeal.
It raised $386.25 by holding an out of uniform day and an Easter raffle.
The events were generously supported by the school community, who kindly donated Easter goodies for the cause.
Each year the SRC actively decides to get involved in some kind of fundraising activity, and this year chose the Good Friday Appeal.
Jane Grenfell, who is heavily involved with the SRC, said it was a worthy cause due to Cobram’s close ties with the hospital.
‘‘The students at Cobram Secondary College are very passionate about supporting this fundraiser as we recognise the number of children and families in our Cobram community who have been supported medically and emotionally by the Royal Children’s Hospital,’’ she said.
