A 51-year-old Mulwala woman was intercepted by police on December 21 at 9.30am and was over the over the prescribed alcohol limit, losing her licence.
On December 22, at 10.40pm, a 36-year-old Yarrawonga male lost his licence for being over the prescribed alcohol limit.
A 39-year-old Yarrawonga man was caught driving 49km over the speed limit on December 23 after numerous complaints of his dangerous driving in Belmore Street.
As a result of the intercept the male recorded a breath alcohol concentration of 0.132. His driver’s licence was immediately suspended and his vehicle impounded at a cost of $1500.
The male will later face numerous charges relating to drink driving and speeding at the Cobram Magistrates Court.
Yarrawonga men in fatal crash near Chiltern
Police are still investigating a fatal crash in Chiltern which claimed the lives of two Yarrawonga men on Boxing Day.
Emergency services were called to Chiltern-Rutherglen Road about 9.15pm on Sunday, 26 December after reports a car crashed near Whistler Track.
The two men, Sam Elsom, 30 and Sean Scott, 36, died at the scene.
Tributes continue to flow for the men.
Sam’s father Lindsay Elsom, who was looking after Sam’s nine-year-old daughter at the time in Warracknabeal said “it’s been like hell” since his son was killed in the crash.
Mr Elsom said Sam loved his job working at a dairy farm.
Investigators are working to establish the circumstances surrounding the crash.

Generally well behaved
Local Police were relatively happy with the general behaviour over the festive season, however there were a number of drink driving offences.
In the past two weeks eight local residents had been picked up for drink driving.
Police were also on alert on New Years Eve and Day however these were not as busy as previous years.
