One Caucasian woman, believed to be in her 20s, selected several items of clothing before running out of the store to a waiting silver BA Falcon with false registration ZWW514 where the second woman was waiting.

●Cobram Highway Patrol intercepted a 31-year-old Cobram man driving along Murray Valley Hwy, Cobram at 9.30 am on Thursday, July 27.
He underwent a breath test at Cobram Police Station which resulted in a breath alcohol reading of 0.181.
His car was impounded for 30 days and he will be summonsed to appear at Cobram Magistrates’ Court.
●Several Cobram police members conducted a roadside breath testing site.
As a result of their concentrated efforts for road safety, the Cobram team conducted more than 300 preliminary breath tests and identified a man driving with a suspended licence, who will attend Cobram Magistrates’ Court at a later date.
Police will summons a Shepparton man for drug possession, carrying a controlled weapon, drink driving and speeding after observing him driving 30km/hr over the speed limit in Melville St.

●An elderly man and woman were taken to Wangaratta Hospital after a collision with an electricity pole on Belmore St on July 27. Police are still making inquiries into the cause.
●A burglary occurred at a Belmore St business on the night of July 27. Entry to the business was forced through the front door. The offender targeted the cash register and stole the contents.

Cobram Criminal Investigation Unit executed a search warrant on a Rochester property with the assistance of Shepparton and Kyabram police.
A large amount of stolen property was located connected to the car wash burglaries, theft from motor vehicles and petrol drive-offs in Yarrawonga, Cobram, Rochester and Shepparton.
One Rochester man was remanded in custody to appear at Shepparton Magistrates’ Court in September. Another man and a woman were charged and bailed to appear at Cobram Magistrates’ Court in September.
