Finley 37 defeated by Mulwala 41.
The girls had all intentions of winning their fourth game in a row. It was a close game with many turnovers from both teams.
With a few changes over the match and Emma-Jane filling in the last quarter, it finally looked as though the Lions were in control of the game.
Mulwala finished with the win and are looking forward to having a full team back after the bye.

B Grade
Finley 27 defeated by Mulwala 57.
The girls are continuing to improve each week with another great team game against Finley. The first half saw the Lions goalers combine beautifully together with Emma Jane, Tayla and Olivia, combining with great mid court feeding the ball in well from Nat and Chelsea.
The second half saw the girls continue to work hard with the young defenders working overtime with numerous turnovers from Freya, Charli and Alex which resulted in a 30-goal win.

C Grade
Finley 36 defeated Mulwala 29.
A good effort from all the girls this week. Unfortunately Mul didn’t come away with the win but everyone played well. Let’s see what next week brings.

C Reserve
Finley 60 defeated Mulwala 33.
Mulwala put up a great fight against a solid Finley team. The girls played well.
With the great help from Reece and Hannah from under 17’s, the C Res team is coming together and a win is just around the corner.
Well done on a great effort and never giving up.

Under 17s
Finley 36 defeated by Mulwala 46.
A very competitive game by both sides. Great driving by Mulwala through the mid court to the goals proved too good on the day. Great win!

Under 15s
Finley 26 defeated Mulwala 11.
This weeks game was a great team effort with the girls starting to play well together. Abbi and Milla worked hard all game in defence, gaining many intercepts.
Myley was moving well in goals.
Even though the Lions lost, the girls should be proud of how they played, they never gave up.

Under 13s
Finley 1 defeated by Mulwala 31.
Another great win for the young Lions. Awards to Maivee who demonstrated versatility in GD, to GS and C.
Also, to Charli for working hard in defence and her ability to adjust to the umpiring.
Great team effort throughout the court, all worked hard on precision footwork and passing, well done.

Under 11s
Terrific teamwork this week by all the girls. The defensive players kept great pressure on the opposition and the other players moved the ball down the court for the shooters to convert.
The girls' passing and calling was outstanding this week. Great teamwork girls.
