Benalla’s hockey players enjoyed getting stuck into some more serious training last Thursday, in readiness for the Goulburn Valley Hockey Association’s season, which starts this Saturday, April 30.
The junior under-12s refined their passing and trapping skills, then played a quarter field game guided by under-14 player Callum and under-17 player Sarah.
The under-17s and B-women drove the ball into the goal circle, and tried some one-on-one attacks against skilled defender Bree.
New players are always welcome — come and have a try for two weeks.
Training is at Churchill Reserve on Thursdays:
4-5pm: 5-7yo Stick 2 Hockey and Under 10s
5-6pm: Under 12 and U14s
6-7pm: U17s and B Women
GVHA games this Sat 30 April:
10am: U12 Benalla vs Euroa
11.15am: U14 Mooroopna-Benalla vs SYC (Pitch 2)
3.30pm: B Women Benalla-SYC vs Mooroopna (Pitch 2)
