Best first winners were Jeff Nisbet and Helen Quinn with 13 and best second game went to Ken Newton and Bruce McKenzie with 7.First game back and the jackpot went off. Three teams shared the jackpot of $104. They were Karen Bruce and Marie O'Brien, Cheryl Townsing and Fay Neale and Fred Pinnuck and Jim Escott. Jackpot next week will be above $60, so still worth having a go at.
The annual general meeting was held Sunday, July 19, with a very good roll up of interested members.
President Des Toohey, vice-president Pam Nicols, secretary/treasury John Bruce and assistant secretary/treasurer Ken Newton were elected to run the club for the next year.
Four committee members were elected by secret ballot. They were Peter Linquist, Ruth Burnett, Liz Ewing, Colin Campbell.Men's match committee members: Peter Linquist, Graham Ashcroft, Ray Emerson, Ron Quinn and Ken Newton.
Women's match committee members: Carol Cox, Pam Nichols, Val Toohey, Pam Fry and Val Linquist.

The selection committees will be appointed by the new general committee as will be the delegates to Murray Bowls.
Several items of interest were discussed including proposed changes to the way bowls is to be played next season.
