On an ideal day for time trialling, 12 riders turned up to challenge themselves over the 15 km journey.
Graham Davison, who hails from the Yarrawonga-Mulwala area, entered after a long hiatus.
Yarrawonga was well represented with Dean and Max Holgate and last year's Geo Goodwin winner Matthew Carmellotti.
Diminutive Bailey White, accompanied by his mother Sharyn, came along to see if he could shave a few seconds from his personal best and he did just that, in an excellent performance, obliterating his previous time by 55 seconds.
Angelina Torney expressed similar sentiments and turned in a time which took 23 seconds from her personal best. The lad who has been taking all before him, Max Holgate, showed what a promising young rider he is by posting a time of 29.44 in his first time trial.
Nathalia's Josh Woods, 16, now dubbed "the prince of punctures", somehow evaded his usual problem and recorded a new personal best as well, taking two minutes and 31 seconds off his previous time to finish in first place.
Rene Mol, who has been showing great improvement recently, was a long way from his best time of 22.10 recorded in 2013. An excellent time for a 61-year-old, possibly the fastest time ever for one of his vintage on this course.
Troy Alexander went close to a personal best, being just 11 seconds outside his fastest effort. Placings and times: Josh Woods 26.18 (16.29), Max Holgate 29.44 (16.45), Angelina Torney 29.37 (17.37), Bailey White 31.07 (18.05), Matt Carmellotti 22.17 (18.54), Dean Holgate 24.28 (19.07), Troy Alexander 21.35 (19.11), Daniel Burrows 22.07 (18.54), Nick Torney 22.59 (19.46), Rene Mol 25.44 (19.49), Daryl Frost 28.27 (22.46), Graham Davison 33.04 (23.02). Next week's event starts from the Back Barooga Rd starting point and heads across the Mt Gwynne circuit of 32.5 km, $10 entry, 10 am start.
