Cadence Pang, who had arrived home from competing in the State Schools Year 8 Badminton finals in time to take part, was in red hot form, taking out the A-Grade girls with 73 points, ahead of Lauren White (69), closely followed by Natasha Smith and Emma Nolan.

The serving competition proved popular and saw Lauren White and Nathan Gossayn reigning supreme with their serving accuracy.
The adults who have been keen supporters of Friday night badminton throughout the season also vied for honours.
Roger Modderkolk was the A-Grade winner ahead of Chuong Voeurn, while Nikata Kothari stole the honours in the A-Reserve from Michael Chabbou. Nevertheless, Chabbou won bragging rights as his daughter Pamela, previously a member of Cobram juniors was a member Balwyn High School’s Year 8 team which won the State Secondary Schools Badminton Final earlier in the day.
Special thanks to the parents who have supported the juniors throughout the season and helped out on tournament nights.
Appreciation also to Peta Modderkolk, Carolyn White, Jacqueline Pang and Matt Talbot for their dedication and amazing contribution.
