Sunday’s Avenel Market will feature several new stall holders and have something for everyone.
New residents to Avenel and new stall holders Rita and Phillip Andis have their colourful and unique fused glass items for sale, including jewellery, bowls and platters.
With more than 35 years working with glass, Phillip expertly designs the glass pieces and melts them together in a kiln to create unique designs.
“Stalls like Rita and Phillip’s along with other crafted items are the reason the Avenel Market is so popular,” market committee member Anne Douglas said.
“The ‘make it, bake it, grow it’ mantra of the committee makes for an interesting country market set under the beautiful cedar trees in Jubilee Park in the centre of Avenel.
“Fruit, vegetables, wine and coffee are always popular stalls along with secondhand books and plants.”
It’s on at Jubilee Park, Avenel from 9 am to 1 pm.
