Cobram Lions Club has been overwhelmed with the response from various businesses, within Cobram, and also public members of our community, giving many varied donations, making the idea of having a Christmas raffle a reality for everyone.
A massive thank-you must go to the following businesses: Rust & Co, Cobram Florist, Cobram Photographics & Trophy Centre, Dollar Curtains, Hong Asian Grocery Shop, Supreme Meats, Double Shot, Magnolia May, La Niche, Cobram Pet Supplies, Cobram Bakery, Mr Paul Jelowyi at Premix, Murray River Butchery, Ambience Bakery, Redgum Computers, Menthas, J & K Picture Framing, Cobram Newsagent, Paul Roberts Jewellers, Worklocker, Cobram Curtains and Blinds, Amcal, Intersport, Betta Electrics, Blissful Beauty by Majella, Floral Love, Noonan’s Showcase Jewellers, Cobram Lotto, Essentials and Gifts, Unique Women’s Wear, Woolworths, Cobram Nails and Beauty, K Mart, Cobram Discount Pharmacy, Reject Shop manager and staff members, The Orchard Café, Hungie Fangs Artisan Bakery, Artavilla’s Emporium, Saputo, D’Vine, Ritchies IGA, and The Cobram Bakery
The members of the Cobram Lions Club have taken every opportunity to sell the tickets with the drawing of the raffle on December 17 at our Twilight Market and Food Van event.
The winners of the raffle in order from first to fourth place were Jodie from Berrigan, Karyn from Barooga, Tony from Cobram, and Sophie from Griffith.
Thank you, to all the people and businesses involved, for donating these wonderful prizes. The Cobram people have really joined forces to make this raffle happen, and for those who need assistance in this community, they will be grateful for the help. Without your continued help we cannot help others.
It certainly has been clear that from small things big thing grow. This is still very apparent within the Cobram community. Thank you everyone.
Janet Austin,
Secretary,
Cobram Lions Club.
