It’s the group’s 20th anniversary season of Shakespeare in the Vines and is set to bring the famous playwright’s best ideas into a story of love, mischief and foolery.
Experienced theatre makers Amanda LaBonte and Sophie Lampel are at the helm of Essential Theatre, who interpret classic texts for modern audiences and deliver engaging and vibrant productions.
Sharon Davis is directing the play, with Zoe Rouse slated as designer.
The cast includes Louis Corbett, Emma Choy, Freya Pragt, Grant Foulkes, Helen Hopkins, Josh Monaghan, Cameron Moore and Mia Landgren.
It will also be the the sixth production of Essential Theatre presented by Moira Arts and Culture Inc.

Adult tickets are $55, MAC Inc members $50, school students $20 and tables of eight $400.
Gates open at 5pm with the performance beginning at 6.30pm.
Attendees are encouraged to bring their own picnic hamper with beer, wine and cider available to purchase on site.
It will also be a COVID-safe event with online booking only, QR code check-in and double vaccination is required.
Capacity will also capped and guests must be seated at tables.
