At two-and-a-half years old, Peggy — who also answers to Pegilicious, Pegosaurous and Peg-Legs — is an ideal cuddle buddy, the perfect partner for walks, and truly the best friend a girl could ask for.
“Ever since the day we adopted her, this floppy-eared little rascal has found her way deep into my heart,” Ms Noonan said.
“She is always so caring, loving and attentive. Any love I give her, she will give back to me times 10.
“She’s such a loving dog, and will go out of her way to make sure anyone who comes to visit knows how happy she is to make new friends."
Ms Noonan said Peggy had plenty of personality.
“Her never-ending excitement when you walk in the door is without a doubt the highlight of every day,” Ms Noonan said.
“She always does the cutest little ‘happy dance’ when you tell her it’s time for a treat.
“No matter how random my mood, Peggy will always put up with it and join me in my craziness with a smile.
“Decided to have a karaoke and dance party in the kitchen? Peggy will join you with a second's notice! She has a certain trick when you ask her to ‘dance’, where she will jump up to hold your hands and allow you to quite literally dance with her.
“In short, life would be so lame without her.”
