Those wanting to lend a helping hand can buy a Big Mac from McDonald’s on Saturday, November 16, with $2 from every Big Mac sold going directly to the RMHC, which provide a home-away-from-home for families of seriously ill children being treated at nearby hospitals.
Alternatively, donations can also be made by buy a pair of $5 silly socks or a helping hand for $2, $10 or $50, available from October 27.
Last year, the Cobram community rallied together to raise almost $3000, adding to the $4.8 million raised across the country.
“Last year’s event was very successful, everyone got together to almost record breaking for the town,” store manager Scott Doyle said.
Mr Doyle hopes to see an improvement on last year's impressive total and smash through the barrier to assist those in need.
“Come down and enjoy the fun, dress up and try break that record.”
