Chadwick Boseman is to be honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame five years after his death.

The Black Panther star - who died aged 43 in 2020 following a secret battle with cancer - is to be given a permanent memorial on the famous Los Angeles sidewalk in a ceremony on November 20 which will be accepted on his behalf by  his widow Simone Ledward-Boseman.
Walk of Fame producer Ana Martinez said in a statement: "The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce is deeply honored to celebrate Chadwick Boseman's extraordinary legacy with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
"His powerful performances and enduring impact both on and off screen continue to inspire generations around the world."
The star will be located at 6904 Hollywood Boulevard and the ceremony which will also feature tributes from Boseman's Black Panther director Ryan Coogler and actress Viola Davis, who worked with the actor on his final film Ma Rainey's Black Bottom.
Other stars recently honoured with stars on the sidewalk include actress Naomi Watts, who attended her ceremony in October, as well as rock veterans Def Leppard, Jessica Chastain, Green Day and comedian Ricky Gervais.
