The Under 14s boys settled in quickly against Albury, applying constant pressure all day.
Scores were even for the first half with Albury scoring a few goals late in the second quarter.
The captain Connor led well racking up five goals in the first half.
Yarra came out strong in the second half with efficient ball movement in attack and tireless defence, enabling them to increase their lead by five goals.
The win was timely, slotting the Pigeons into second place on the ladder.
