World class competition at Barooga Sporties

By Cobram Courier

Some of the best dart players in the country descended on the Murray River for the latest tournament in the national darts pro tour.

Apart from chasing Australia’s number one ranking players were fighting for places in the Australian team for the World Championship of Darts at the Alexandria Palace in London in December.

The Harrows Australian DPA Pro Tour saw 130 Australasian players in action at Barooga Sporties competing in four tournaments, including knockout events and a round robin.

It was the first time the pro tour has been held at Barooga Sporties.

After keen interest from locals and the media, events kicked off on Friday night, with action on Saturday and Sunday — delivering on the promise of world class darts.
