Strathmerton 41 d Berrigan 37
It was a stellar game where the girls fought hard and made the most of every opportunity they were given.
Britt Brunskill and Claire Walker came on hard in defence to keep the Berrigan shooters at bay, while Hope Lindhe, with her strong drives and great back-up, completed the power trio in the defensive end.
This contributed to multiple turnovers, which the shooters confidently looked after. Strathmerton came home with a well-deserved, hard-fought win.
Also a massive thanks to Walker and Caitlin Hill for stepping up and helping out when the girls needed it.
Awards: Claire Walker (Strathy Railway Hotel); Hope Lindhe (Supreme Meats); Caitlin Hill (Intersport Wingates).
