ECHUCA GRANDMOTHER ATTACKED AT HER FRONT DOOR TONIGHT

By Riverine Herald

AN ECHUCA grandmother was confronted and had her bag stolen just after 6pm.

Her family has posted security video in a bid to identify her attacker, who had been waiting on the veranda of the woman’s High St home.

In their Facebook post the family said their grandmother had been driven home by the Moama Bowling Club courtesy bus.

They said the attack appeared to be “targeted”.

“The suspect was wearing a grey jumper and black tracksuit pants,” they said.

Anyone who has any information, or who might recognise the man is urged to contact Echuca police on 5483 1500 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
