IT’S not that the good folk of the Caledonian Hotel don’t want you to tarry a while; it’s just that they can’t help themselves at continually improving the overall experience for customers.
It started with Latte Lane for drive through coffees (with tasty extras such as muffins and toasties).
Now it has expanded to a full-blown, seven day a week drive through with the Cal’s famous parmas and pastas heading the menu.

The coupon deal is only good for Friday, Saturday and Sunday so you will need to get cracking to get your cut-price parma (today’s coupon appears on page 7).
The Cal’s Dave Cunningham said the drive through opens at 5.30pm and goes until the last parma (and/or pasta) has been sold.
Or until they decided they have had enough and they pack up and go home.
“Probably best just to say ‘open until late’,” Dave added.
“Latte Lane has been a great success for the business and, we hope, for the people of Echuca-Moama as well,” he said.
“And while it will still be the same drive through it will be Latte Lane during the day and Parma Lane after 5.30pm.”
Dave said they were running the cut-price coupon deal to celebrate the service going seven days after its soft launch for just a few days every week.
He said they had three varieties of parmas on board and a range of pastas – something to suit every palate.
“After the coupon deal closes we will replace it with a $50 family deal,” Dave said.
“There’s no need to phone ahead, just turn up, drive through and start eating,” he said.
“But if you have dietary requirements, we can, for example provide a gluten free meal, then a quick call to give us a heads up would be great.”
