Two in hospital after Main St crash

A man has been airlifted to a Melbourne hospital with severe leg injuries after being struck by a car on Main St, Cobram.

The man was one of two males hit while unloading a meat truck at approximately 4.30 pm on Friday afternoon Cobram CIU Detective Constable Leah Booth explained at the scene.

“A male in his late 60s was attempting to park his vehicle on Main St, Cobram when we believe he may have had a medical incident or he has hit the accelerator.” Det. Const. Booth said.

“He has hit two males who were unloading a truck outside Betta Electrical.

“At this stage, we have one male who has gone off to hospital in Shepparton and one male who has been airlifted to Melbourne with severe leg injuries.”
