Cobram Anglican Grammar School has teamed with Trikki Kidz to provide a fresh approach to after-school and vacation care.
The service is open to all children in the community, not just CAGS students.
CAGS’ Ashlee Harvey said children would get the most out of the experience because the facilities were age appropriate.
‘‘They will have access to all the great facilities we have on offer here such as the modern performing arts room which is great for their learning and development — and enjoyment, of course,’’ she said.
The after-school program runs from 3pm to 6pm Monday to Friday during Victorian school terms, and the vacation care program from 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday during Victorian school holidays.
Ms Harvey said the decision to partner with Trikki Kidz was a logical and easy one for the school as they had always had a good relationship.
Experienced educators Jayne Allemand and Jess Panter will oversee the programs.
Mrs Allemand is a kindergarten teacher at Trikki Kidz, while Mrs Panter works within the CAGS community.
The program caters for 30 children each day.
