McDonald’s in Cobram will join forces with the local community on Sunday to show their support for Clean Up Australia Day.
McDonald’s is taking part in clean-up efforts across the country, which allow residents to make a difference to their environment.
McDonald’s Cobram licensee Tully Lyster said Clean Up Australia Day was an initiative it was extremely proud to be part of.
"For 27 years, McDonald’s Australia has moved approximately 3743 ute loads of rubbish over 6138 clean-up sites," he said.
"This Clean Up Australia Day, Cobram McDonald’s encouraging all Cobram locals to get out and do their bit for the community.’’
To become involved, people can go online and register at www.cleanupaustraliaday.org.au/index.html and join their local Macca’s crew in making our streets spick and span.
