All revved up for muster

February 21, 2018

One big happy family: David and Pam Garbett of Barooga on their Trike with dog Seamus.

There will be engines purring and leather aplenty at the Motorbike Muster Show and Shine in Mulwala this weekend.

The muster will be held at the Mulwala Water Ski Club foreshore on Sunday, from 9.30am to 2pm. Exhibitors can register from 8am.

Entry is $2 for exhibitors and attendees. Children aged six and under can enter for free.

The Motorbike Muster Show and Shine will be a sparkling display of vintage to modern motorcycles, with the Mulwala Water Ski Club sponsoring the best motorbike award.

Other awards include best trike, best Spyder, best sidecar and best ATV, with a $60 club voucher and certificate presented to the winner of each category.

Exhibitors are in the running for a great list of prizes, with hourly giveaways.

The Lucky Motorbike Exhibitor major draw winner will receive an RACV Cobram Resort voucher valued at $500. This will be drawn at 1pm.

Other prizes include $150 for the people’s choice best exhibit winner, a $100 A.J’s Motorcycles voucher for the runner-up and $50 Stuart Simmons Motorcycles Mowers and Marine vouchers for third and fourth placegetters.

The day will provide something for everyone. Kids can enjoy the jumping castle and waterslide at only $5 per child, with endless jumps and slides during the event.

The Ski Club Coffee Shop will be open from 8am for those wanting a coffee and bacon and egg sandwich, while Boosey Creek Club Inc. will have a sausage sizzle and La Porchetta and Golden Inn Chinese Restaurant will be open for lunch or takeaway.

The event is proudly presented by Boosey Creek Club Inc. and Mulwala Water Ski Club.
