Hoppers start pre-season

February 16, 2018

PRE-SEASON for the under-17 Yarroweyah Football Club has started and any interested players are encouraged to attend training on Tuesdays.
Training will then change to twice a week to include Thursdays, starting on March 6.
On the back of a testing 2017 season, coaches Lincoln Humphries and Ben Lucas will again guide the team.
Humphries and Lucas bring a wealth of football knowledge to the group and set very good training methods and discipline for the young players to grow their football and life skills.
Meanwhile, the under-14 football team recently started its pre-season campaign, training on the same nights.
With Wes Sutton coaching the team, assisted by Brad Adams, the youngest batch of hoppers will be looking to continue to build on their strong finish last season.
The players will be given the opportunity to build football skills, with a heavy focus on learning, game sense and working as a team central to training sessions.
All previous players are encouraged to attend, as well as any new players.
There are also opportunities for under-14 girls wanting to try their hand at football.
