You only have three days to get nominations in for the Sports Star of the Year awards.
This year will be the 28th annual presentation of these prestigious awards, where outstanding sporting achievements from juniors, seniors, teams and services to sport will be recognised.
Co-ordinator Mick O’Dwyer said the awards had gone to some outstanding athletes in past years and he expected this lot to be the same.
He said there had been a lot of success stories in the region and he expected competition for the categories to be as tough as usual.
Award nominees must be a resident, or have been a resident, at the time of being nominated in the Cobram Courier circulation area.
A sportsperson who has previously won three junior or senior Sports Star of the Year awards is no longer eligible for consideration.
This year the award categories are Junior Sports Star of the Year, Senior Sports Star of the Year, Team of the Year and Services to Sports.
Nomination forms for all awards are available from the Courier office.
The awards dinner will be at the Cobram Barooga Golf Club on Thursday, February 22.
