Cobram District Health and KAF Fruit Supply are throwing their support behind Cobram locals to help them live healthy lives through smart eating. Local dietitian Caitlyn Cormick said the Smart Eating Week message was straightforward — take the opportunity to connect with an accredited practising dietitian for practical, evidence-based and personalised nutrition advice and support.

‘‘Because we’re all unique, with our own health challenges, goals and lifestyle, smart eating will mean different things to different people and how we go about achieving it will be different too,’’ she said. ‘‘Like other health professionals, we base our advice on scientific fact, have high professional standards and are accountable for the nutrition advice we offer.’’

To mark Smart Eating Week, Caitlyn is encouraging Cobram residents to eat more vegetables.

Cobram has an abundance of fresh fruit and vegetables grown locally and Kathy and Francis Latessa of K.A.F Fruit Supply are passionate about supplying the freshest local produce at the best possible price.

Get down to K.A.F’s Fruit Supply at 75 High St in Cobram during Smart Eating Week and pick up a copy of the Livelighter Summer Recipes booklet.
