Aussie Helpers is hosting a luncheon for women doing it tough on the land.

All women in farming are encouraged to enjoy Breakfast in a Bag hosted by Aussie Helpers, a charity which supports Australian farmers, at Cobram’s Grand Hotel on Monday, from 11am to 2pm.

Breakfast in a Bag aims to spoil farming women who have been battling away in the face of substantial adversity in some cases.

Offers such as a free haircut, free make-up and free lunch and drinks will be on offer for any women wanting a day away from the strain of the farm.

The women will also have the opportunity to leave a little wiser, with guest speaker Darcel Malioux delivering a talk on clearing the way for a happy future.

A fundraiser organised by Indyanna Ciccone will also be held on Sunday from 11.30am to 2pm at the same venue, with all funds raised going directly to Aussie Helpers.

There will be a $10 donation required at the door.

Bookings are essential.
