Tocumwal Pharmacy opened their doors to a new customer last Friday.

A wild Koala was having a lovely stroll down the street when it decided to make a turn into the pharmacy.

Many people came to take a look, surprised at how tame the furry friend was whilst having a browse.

Pharmacist Assistant Gabby Wiles told 9 News Melbourne how surprised they were when the Koala decided to enter the store.

"It was so relaxed and cruisy."

Gabby and her husband, Ashley Wiles, made sure the Koala was home safe and sound, guiding him to a nearby tree after the ordeal.
