Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate Trent Higgins, who is known to frequent the Cobram region.

Warrants have been issued for the 20-year-old’s arrest for assault-related offences.

The Numurkah man is described as Caucasian and about 175cm tall with a thin build, short black hair, brown eyes and a fair complexion.

Investigators have released an image of Mr Higgins in the hope someone may recognise him and be able to provide information on his whereabouts.

Court appearance for drink-driving

A man will face court after allegedly being detected driving with a blood alcohol reading more than three times the legal limit in Tocumwal.

Police stopped the man, 23, on Sunday, June 23 on Deniliquin St after they witnessed him driving erratically.

He returned a positive breath test and further analysis showed a reading of 0.174.

He has been charged with driving with a high-range prescribed concentration of alcohol and issued an immediate licence confiscation notice.
