Police are continuing to investigate a collision which claimed the life of an elderly Cobram man on Friday afternoon.
Emergency services were called to the collision shortly after 4pm and police said investigators had been told two cars collided at the intersection of Healy and Campbell Rds.
As a result, a number of roads around the area were closed to traffic until early evening.
The driver of one of the vehicles, believed to be a man in his 80s, died at the scene.
The male driver of the other car sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene.
Investigations remain ongoing.

At the time, the death took the state’s road toll to 116, compared to 137 at the same time last year.
