Paul Quinane, right with son Ned, presents a cheque to Cobram and District Specialist School after his 321 Ride for Down Syndrome fundraising efforts.

Cobram and District Specialist School was the lucky recipient of $3250 raised by Paul Quinane during his 321 Ride for Down Syndrome last month.

This is Mr Quinane’s third year riding for the cause and the school said his donation was greatly appreciated.

Mr Quinane also donates money to Down Syndrome Victoria.

He left Barooga Sports Club with eight other riders on Monday, March 20, heading to Cobram, Numurkah, Shepparton, Benalla, Glenrowan and Wangaratta on day one.

The next day they rode to Chiltern, Rutherglen, Bundalong, Yarrawonga, Mulwala and finished at Barooga Sports Club.

Mr Quinane was sponsored by Barooga Sports Club, Brooks Hall Lawyers (Yarrawonga/Deniliquin), The Paradise Queen Lake Mulwala, Mogg Osborne Accounting, Xchanging Insurance, PB Embroidery, Artavilla’s Emporium, The Big Strawberry and Repco Cobram.

The school would like to thank the sponsors for helping Mr Quinane with his ride and donating funds, which will be used to buy new iPads.
