Harry’s story inspires others

The Cobram and district community has rallied in support of one of its own, with hundreds of people descending on Federation Park for the Good Friday Appeal Family Day Out.

The fundraising efforts were inspired by young Harry Henderson, 3, who has been in and out of the Royal Children’s Hospital for most of his life as medical experts work to diagnose his current unknown chronic illness.

The day raised a grand total of $14622.80, and organisers said they were incredibly grateful to all involved for the fantastic effort.

As well as the many activities and tasty treats on offer during the day, which were all generously donated to the cause, a group of dedicated family and friends made the marathon trek from Yarrawonga to Cobram, beginning their walk at 4.15am on Good Friday.
