A second woman in her teens from the same car was treated by paramedics and taken to Goulburn Valley Base Hospital in Shepparton in a serious condition with back and spinal injuries.

Boat motor explodes
A person was injured after a motor on a boat exploded last week, which was anchored off the Murray Riverside Caravan Park boat ramp at Tocumwal.
Police said the boat owner and three others were on board, when the owner’s daughter re-started the motor after it had stalled, when there was an explosion.
The engine cover was blown off the boat and the engine caught fire, and all passengers jumped from the boat into the water.
One of the passengers sustained a back injury and was taken to Goulburn Valley Base Hospital for treatment, while the other passengers sustained minor burns on their legs and backs.
NSW Fire and Rescue and police attended, and there was minor damage to the boat.
