●Division one: Tocumwal played host to Finley this week. The visitors won the toss and sent the home side in to bat.
Finley was excited early in the first over to take the scalp of Matt Burrows for just one run.
From there the Bloods settled well, with opening batsman Jesse Barker hitting form for the Bloods after missing the first half of the season with a broken ankle. Barker finished his innings with 64.
Darren White held up the bottom half of the batting order finishing the 40 overs on 37 not out, and Mark Barker with a handy 33 saw the Bloods reach 8/198.
Only four Tocumwal bowlers were required with the ball, and it was spinner Scott Goven that did the damage to Finley.
Goven took 4/23 off 6.5 overs, while Jesse Barker got 2/15 off six, Andy Arthurs 2/25 off six and Dalton Perryman 1/16 off six, ending the Finley innings in the 24th over for 81.
With finals still a chance, the side must beat CYU this weekend.
●Division two: Tocumwal travelled to Jerilderie. Jerilderie won the toss and sent Tocumwal in to bat.
Jerilderie was strong in the field and had the visitors bowled out in the 27th over for 59 runs.
Best with the bat for Tocumwal were James Balcombe with 14, Greg Whelan 10 and Perry Cole 8.
Best with the ball for Tocumwal was James Balcombe taking 4/39 off seven and Greg Whelan 2/25 off seven.
Jerilderie took the points, ending the innings on 145.
●Division one: Strathmerton was outplayed by a strong Cobram side on Saturday.
Batting first at home, Strathy made 110 with Trent Collyer top scoring with 20.
In reply, Cobram flew past the total before finishing the 40 overs 9/212.
Sam Lewis was the best of the Bulldogs’ bowlers with three wickets.
