The competitive juices were flowing at Cobram Anglican Grammar on Friday as a lunch of hot chips was on the line.
To raise money for the KoonaWonga Wildlife Rescue Centre, the school’s SRC held a ‘pin-off’ competition where students attempted to pin the joey onto the mother’s pouch.
Each student was asked to bring a gold coin donation on Monday, February 20 which each class holing their trial round of the pin-off.
The winner from each class was then sent to battle against the rest of the school.
The overall winner (by the narrowest of margins) during the final was Julian Guthrie who won the delicious prize of hot chips for the rest of his class to share.
