Man killed in Cobram crash

Major crash investigators will investigate the scene of a fatal crash in Cobram overnight on Friday.

Police are investigating a crash that claimed the life of a man in Cobram late Friday night.

Emergency services were called to the single-vehicle collision shortly before 9pm on Friday night.

A Muckatah man, 55, died at the scene.

He was the only occupant of the vehicle. 

Leading Senior Constable Paul Turner said it was believed a Toyota utility was travelling south along Campbell Rd when it left the road to the right and rolled over on the west side of the road, just south of the Murray Valley Hwy. 

The investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
