New era for your news

February 15, 2017

Dear readers,

We are pleased to announce some major improvements for the Cobram Courier for 2017.

This week we officially launch our expanded news website for subscribers.

It has more local news, local features, local videos and local photos.

Our subscribers who receive the paper home delivered every day now have unlimited online access.

It’s the biggest ever expansion of our digital publishing and it is designed to make the McPherson Media Group the leading local multi-media publisher in the region.

Readers who choose not to subscribe will have access to three free local original articles a month (or six if they register with us) from the expanded site.

These readers can also enjoy our expanded state and national news coverage, but they’ll miss all the local exclusives.

This week we also launch a new subscription plan, designed to make it easier for you to access the leading news on your community.

A subscription to the Cobram Courier now includes newspaper home delivery and unlimited access to the website, mobile site and digital edition (the replica of the classic newspaper format) with nine years of fully searchable archives.

It all comes in one easy subscription and costs the same as getting the paper home delivered, which is $1.30 a week.

By including all our new digital material in our subscription we aim to make subscriptions more attractive for a new generation of readers.

Subscriptions also help support our investment in local, original reporting which we believe is vital to supporting this community.

If you haven’t already considered it, now is a good time to support local journalism by purchasing a subscription.

You can phone 1300834619 and our team can set you up.

There’s nothing to pay upfront and you can cancel at any time.

We hope you enjoy our expanded line-up of stories in print and online.
