Sonidos Flamencos will be performed at the Cobram Italian Social Club on Friday.

Audiences will be transported to Spain as part of the Cafe Culture Series’ latest offering on Friday night.

Moira Arts and Culture will again present the series, with the first of four performances kicking off with a stunning flamenco dance show at the Cobram Italian Social Club.

Choreographer and dancer Tomas Arroquero seeks to stretch the boundaries of the flamenco form in his new work Sonidos Flamencos, which explores sound, image and setting to capture an elastic new essence of the flamenco experience.

This flamenco feast is complete with male and female flamenco dancers and singer accompanied on guitar.

The performance is full of passion, fervour, spontaneity and intricate rhythms.

The Café Culture Series provides an authentic experience of different cultures without needing to travel.

Running for 18 years, each program in the series has an emphasis on praising originality, honouring traditions and valuing inventiveness.

It strives to keep the program fresh, interesting and inspiring.

The 2017 Café Culture Series is presented by MAC Inc in collaboration with Just Shows To Go and is supported by the Victorian Government through Creative Victoria.

●Sonidos Flamencos is on Friday, February 10 at the Cobram Italian Social Club at 8pm. Tickets are $35, members $30.
